Job Summary

The Trade AP Technician is responsible for processing freight invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor accounts.

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely payment to valued vendors.
  • Validate and post freight & rail invoices using the 3-way matching process.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Contribute to process improvements where applicable.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and coworkers, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our documentation and filing systems.
  • Assist with audit requests, ad hoc duties, and projects as required.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in data entry and managing high volumes of information with precision.
