We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Compliance Specialist to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation and management of our contracts.

Your Role
As a Contract Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and completing assignments related to contract administration and compliance. Your duties will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact with Receiving Facilities and Eligible Community Contractors
- Creating, modifying, completing, and filing compliance checklists to verify contractual obligations
- Completing data analysis and reconciliation of contractor data and submitting invoices accordingly
- Requesting, receiving, reviewing, and filing all compliance documents by contract deadlines
- Identifying, communicating, and resolving contract deficiencies/violations in a timely manner
- FOLLOWING UP AND DOCUMENTING DEFICIENCIES/VIOLATIONS AND RESOLUTIONS
- Escalating issues that cannot reasonably be addressed to RLG management
- Maintaining all documents related to contracts in a centralized filing system
- Providing support and training to Receiving Facility (RF) and Eligible Community (EC) Contractor(s) to ensure contract compliance and data reporting requirements are satisfied
- Completing data analysis and reconciliation, identifying errors, and ensuring corrections are made by the EC Collection Contractor(s) in a timely manner
- Inputting data into centralized systems as required
- Identifying, assessing, and reporting risks, issues, concerns, and opportunities for improvement for consideration by RLG Management
- Ensuring all compliance documents are requested, received, reviewed, and filed by contract deadlines
- Responding to and coordinating emergency and contingency issues, where necessary
- Overseeing the collection, preparation, storage, and shipment of material samples to a centralized RLG auditing facility
- Overseeing the delivery of blue box materials from all EC sources to the approved RF
- Undertaking regular site visits and physical inspections of RFs
- Ensuring contract compliance at the approved RF with regard to wait times, weigh scale protocols, tipping procedures, etc.
Your Experience
We require a minimum of 2 years' experience in operational contract administration and compliance. Proven experience working remotely at various locations, project management experience, and knowledge of various municipal, provincial, and federal legislation are considered assets. You should also have experience working in the waste management industry.
Your Profile
You will be a driven, outcome-focused, critical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to draft detailed reports, presentations, and accurately transcribe field notes. You will be highly organized, with the ability to compose, scan, collect, and upload relevant contract documents to an electronic document management system. You should be comfortable working independently and within teams, with the ability to work under time pressure and maintain high efficiency and accuracy.

$65,000 - $75,000 per year
This salary range is based on your experience and qualifications. The actual salary may vary depending on individual circumstances.
