About the Role

Alberta Ltd. o/a Petro Canada is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reporting: Prepare various reports, including trial balances and tax returns.
  • Security Clearance: Meet the requirements for basic security clearance and bondability.
  • Transportation: Own reliable transportation for work-related purposes.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management, organizational, and judgment skills, with a strong attention to detail. Fluency in English is required.
