About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine the best course of treatment for clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including group therapy and case management
  • Provide education and support to clients and families on mental health and substance use issues
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes and services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Counselling Psychology or Social Work
  • 2 years of experience working with clients and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes
