The OpportunityThis pivotal role plays a key part in supporting MLF's Leadership learning programs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating various learning initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Program Management and Execution: Ensure programming is relevant, manage program life cycles, coordinate participants and logistics, support facilitators, and facilitate content where necessary.
- Evaluate, track, and report on training attendance, engagement, completion, and success rates.
- Develop engaging training communications for campaigns, calendars, and individual stakeholders to increase awareness and demand for programming.
- Effectively evaluate program impact and update as needed.
- Work with leaders to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
- Develop solutions considering learner persona, objectives, business constraints, and available resources while applying adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
- Proactively seek out talent research best practices and identify key trends informing current and future learning programs.
- Collaborate with other learning, HR team members, and learning partners to deliver organizational objectives.
- Partner and build close relationships with key stakeholders.
- Build connections with vendors to ensure programming is relevant, meets objectives, and delivers expected outcomes.
- Identify issues and/or recommend program improvements to ensure efficient delivery and high-quality learning experience.
- Lead complex projects through the entire project life cycle, including course/program development and implementation.
This role requires 3-5 years of experience managing learning programs, including needs assessments, design, implementation, and evaluation. Key skills include:
- Action-oriented and proactive approach.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relations with clients and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, listening, speaking, and facilitating.
- Effective listening skills, seeking to understand full context and deliver expected outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills to support multiple projects simultaneously.
At Maple Leaf Foods, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, based on experience. This includes:
