About the Role
The Sales Manager at Aurum will lead the Sales Team and provide direction and oversight to the Account Executives. This involves creating long-term, trusting relationships with customers to develop new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities.
The Sales Manager will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. The key area of focus for this role will be to grow the Company's business within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership Build and maintain a strong sales team focused on building effective client relationships and driving sales growth.
- Sales Strategy Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Customer Engagement Teach Account Executives how to engage with customers, ensuring an ongoing positive customer experience and driving customer loyalty.
- Account Management Maintain regular communication with operations to ensure that sales and capability are synchronized, ensuring timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- New Business Development Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas and drive revenue growth.
- Negotiation and Closing Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and drive revenue growth.
- Process Improvement Coordinate sales plans with operations and scheduling departments to ensure customer success and identify areas for process improvement.
- Reporting and Analysis Ensure all data, information, and details are entered into CRM / ERP and updated as required, maintaining accurate records and providing regular sales performance reports.
- Market Awareness Maintain acute awareness of market and industry trends and make suggestions for improvement to drive business growth and stay ahead of the competition.
