Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shop Manager to join our team at SUNFOOD MARKET. The successful candidate will be responsible for studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales. Key responsibilities include determining merchandise and services to be sold, locating and selecting merchandise for resale, planning budgets, and monitoring revenues and expenses. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • Locate and select merchandise for resale
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and work accurately
Work Environment

The Shop Manager will work in a convenience store located in an urban area, with a team of 3-4 people. The ideal candidate will have a basic security clearance and be able to work in a public transportation accessible location.
