Agricultural Labourer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Agricultural Labourer to join our team at McNary Feed Lot Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in various farm tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our feed lot.

• Farm Operations: Assist in clearing and collecting brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• Livestock Management: Monitor animal health, perform livestock feeding, weaning, and tending to animals.
• Machinery Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including feeding and watering systems, tractors, and forklifts.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Quality Control: Examine products for quality and readiness for market.

• Experience: Previous experience in farm or agricultural settings is an asset.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, physically demanding role with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
• Personal Qualities: Organized, team player, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and a quick learner.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. We offer group insurance benefits, a permanent work term, and 40 hours of work per week.
