Liam Construction Fort McMurray Ltd is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade. You will be required to work in various locations, including residential and commercial sites, and will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also be required to maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments. You will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring you to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
We are looking for a team player who is accurate, reliable, and able to work independently. If you have a strong work ethic and are passionate about carpentry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
