Salary

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $29.26 to $30.17 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits, as well as 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Inventory Specialist to maintain and control computerized inventory, provide controlled access to tools, parts, and materials in stores, and support instructors in the orientation of students to the Aircraft Management System. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Grade 12 completion or equivalent
  • Fundamental knowledge of and/or background in the management of tools and mechanical parts
  • Excellent organizational, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry up to approximately 40 pounds (18 kg)
