We are seeking a skilled Electroneurophysiology Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Neurodiagnostic Services Department, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests and providing high-quality care to patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with our Technical Lead and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities- Conduct EEG, Evoked Potential Tests, Nerve Conduction Studies, and EMG on patients
- Prepare patients for tests by explaining procedures, attaching electrodes, and monitoring patient comfort
- Formulate technical preliminary reports by analyzing recordings, measuring numerical data, and describing abnormal manifestations
- Participate in departmental infection control programs and maintain neurodiagnostic procedure records
- Diploma program in Electroneurophysiology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current registration with CBRET and BRETC, and membership with BCSET and/or AETC
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based Electroneurophysiology practice
- Broad knowledge of Electroneurophysiology theory and practice within a client-centered model of care
The estimated salary for this role is $62,500 - $82,500 per year, depending on experience.
