About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Leader to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our human resources strategy and implementing policies and programs that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement human resources strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and programs that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish financial and administrative controls, and to formulate and approve promotional campaigns.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, and delegate representatives as needed.
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff, and create optimum working conditions.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in human resources leadership, with a focus on strategic planning and implementation.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful human resources strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
