Job Summary

RT Medical is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical professional services, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management services.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide occupational therapy services, assessing patients' physical, psychological, perceptual, cognitive, vocational, and functional status, and developing tailored treatment plans to enhance functional independence.
  • Formulate and implement individualized client-centered goals consistent with team objectives.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment for patients requiring support and provide guidance to maximize safety and function within the patient's environment.
  • Support patients in achieving functional independence in areas such as self-care, productivity, and leisure, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in occupational therapy.
