Job Summary:

Metrolinx is seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Lead to join our Capital Projects Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to staff and project teams, ensuring the quality and consistency of work. You will also manage staff performance, develop and implement quality assurance strategies, and support the development and application of audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership and direction to staff and project teams, ensuring the quality and consistency of work.
  • Manages staff performance, addressing any performance gaps through corrective actions and timely feedback.
  • Develops and implements quality assurance strategies, supported by data-driven analysis and industry best practices.
  • Supports the development and application of audit processes, ensuring compliance with Metrolinx's Quality Management System.
  • Collaborates with the Integrated Project Delivery Team to ensure timely data and information regarding the status of all aspects of the project's quality assurance.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable exceptional technical skill in quality assurance, including the creation and delivery of detailed Project Quality Assurance Plans.
  • Highly skilled in quality assurance theory, principles, and practice.
  • Comprehensive understanding of broader project management theory, principles, and practice.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team, set high standards, and manage expectations and outputs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
