Role OverviewThe Director, OT Infrastructure Services & Cyber Security will work closely with the VP, Cyber Security to engage with clients and prospects, directly selling and soliciting feedback.
This role supports the VP in team leadership, as assigned, for the division.
Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Participate in senior management strategy development, execution planning, and annual budgeting, providing market and competitor intelligence.
- Team Leadership: Effectively communicate strategic plans and business goals to team members, motivating and empowering them to contribute to the company's success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across functions with peers in other sectors and departments to ensure collaboration for shared goals.
- Labor Utilization: Drive labor utilization rates to ensure achievement of budgeted revenue and margins.
- Growth Initiatives: Identify and propose new growth areas/innovative offerings that will meet existing customer needs and/or reach new markets; and validate market readiness of existing and new offerings.
- Technical Sales: Participate in technical sales activities, prepare proposals and participate in interviews and presentations.
- Client Partnerships: Partner and collaborate with clients to provide solutions, ensuring they see Dexcent as a 'trusted adviser'.
- Project Management: Manage projects, coordinating project logistics with clients and other stakeholders consistent with project plans to meet deadlines and deliverables, within budget.
- Problem Solving: Identify and solve project-related problems that are technical, business, and resource specific, and facilitate brainstorming sessions, project kick-offs, sprint planning, and retrospectives/post-mortem.
- Innovation and Improvement: Foster a spirit of innovation and continuous improvement; provide opportunities for team members to suggest product improvements, sales growth opportunities, cost savings options, and work environment improvements.
- Cyber Security Assessments: Complete Cyber Security assessments and provide consulting services to Dexcent clients, mentoring Dexcent team members as appropriate.
- Cyber Security Best Practices: Maintain knowledge of relevant provincial, federal, and international laws and regulations as they pertain to Cyber Security and related domains; ensuring Dexcent's related policies and practices meet or exceed the standard.
- Cyber Security Consulting: Consult with clients to advance OT Cyber Security practices and controls.
- Project Requirements: Engage with clients to confirm project requirements against specifications, and best practices and ensure completion of projects.
- Evaluation and Recommendations: Evaluate client needs, identify Cyber Security technology solution options, and present recommendations, effectively communicating the value proposition to all decision makers and influencers.
- Supplier Evaluation: Provide technical evaluation of supplier proposals and advise or accept as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services.
- Project Reviews: Review Cyber Security projects/programs for reasonability and accuracy.
- Threat Management: Lead Cyber Security project teams to conduct threat management, assess and enhance cyber systems security and network security, conduct assessments/reviews, and develop governance and risk management standards.
- Cyber Asset Management: Review, enhance, and implement network segmentation principles, access control mechanisms, cyber threat intrusion detection and response systems, threat monitoring and reporting, cyber asset management solutions, vulnerability and patch management services.
- Remediation Roadmaps: Lead Cyber Security assessments/reviews, development of remediation roadmaps, and implementation of recommendations.
- Vulnerability Assessments: Lead vulnerability assessments and advise on remediation plans.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop Cyber Security (IT & OT) and related policies and procedures for clients and support the implementation process.
- Quality Control: Review various sources of documentation, existing design artifacts, management of change (MOC) records, asset management systems of record, logs, and asset monitoring to confirm how the client environment has been configured.
- Coordination and Reporting: Assist clients with coordinating Cyber Security activities across multiple projects, divisions, and systems.
- Professional Reports: Design, develop, format, and proofread professional reports, proposals, presentations, and correspondence.
- Presentations and Deliverables: Deliver formal presentations and reports for client engagements.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
