Family Support Network Liaison

We are seeking an exceptional Team Leader to join our Family Support Network at Wood's Homes, a renowned not-for-profit mental health centre based in Calgary, Alberta.
Job SummaryThe Team Leader will oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of one program or department, demonstrating due diligence in delivering high-quality services and meeting Health and Safety Management System requirements.
Responsibilities:- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations for the unit or program area, providing support to managers, supervisors, and programs as needed.
- Recruit and supervise front-line staff, authorizing records of staff hours, and monitoring performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with families, referral services, and communities through case management and first-level liaison efforts.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring regular supervision, annual evaluations, and adherence to Policy and Procedure guidelines.
- Maintain financial accountability for petty cash, cottage books, and direct client costs, ensuring compliance with Licensing requirements.
- Prioritize participation in meetings, case management reviews, and conferences related to clients, programs, and the agency.
- Enhance workplace safety by reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses to the direct supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Child Studies, or Addictions.
- A minimum of four years' experience working with young people and families.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in milieu therapy.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing abilities.
- Personal suitability and commitment to cultivating an inclusive culture.
