We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse to join our team as a Hemodialysis Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care services to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatments.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a Hemodialysis Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care and support throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient health conditions and develop individualized care plans to address their bio-psycho-social needs.
- Administer and monitor hemodialysis treatments, ensuring accurate medication dosages and proper equipment use.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including medical histories, treatment plans, and lab results.
- Degree in Nursing (DEC) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum two years of experience in hospital settings, preferably in hemodialysis units.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Cree or French considered an asset.
- A competitive salary range of $**90,000 - $120,000 per annum**, commensurate with experience.

This position requires working 6 shifts of 12 hours each, plus one shift of 8 hours per pay period. On-call periods may be required to ensure adequate patient care coverage.
