Production Operator

Job Summary:

The Production Operator will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety policies, programs, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete health and safety pre-start checklists to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Monitor and document quality checks at regular intervals to ensure product meets established specifications.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Document production numbers and items contributing to downtime using a computerized system and hand-written reports.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Counterbalance forklift operating experience is recommended.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and maintain a high level of manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
