Job Description:

The Heating and Air Conditioning Service Support Expert will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and assistance to contractors, dealers, engineers, architects, and homeowners on various products, including hydronic heating, forced hot air, domestic hot water, air conditioning, heat pumps, and more.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide phone and email-based troubleshooting and applications assistance to ensure smooth system operation and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with different departments to support new product introduction, provide guidance on current products, and assist in continuous improvement projects.
  • Represent the business in root cause analysis for complaint resolution or technical investigation when required.
  • Maintain electronic support records of calls and emails.
  • Review technical materials to verify correctness and develop departmental technical documents.
  • Assist in creating technical videos to enhance product knowledge and training.
  • Provide internal support to related departments and outside sales representatives.
  • Develop peer-level support to enhance technical expertise among team members.
  • Contribute to continual product and process improvements, reducing warranty and goodwill costs.
  • Perform on-site field troubleshooting as needed.

 

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on gas service, installations, controls, fuel combustion, heat exchange/transfer, fluid transfer, fresh air, and exhaust systems, air conditioning, compressors, and domestic hot water systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with oil service and installations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with geothermal and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) products is also a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer orientation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese languages.

 

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
