About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at PortsToronto. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a challenging and dynamic work environment.

Job Summary

The Financial Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing various financial and administrative tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and contract management. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable documentation, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Process payroll data on a daily and bi-weekly basis, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments.
  • Support airport programs by providing administrative assistance and maintaining filing systems and databases.
  • Maintain a close relationship with finance, preparing monthly reports and analyzing financial data.
  • Assist in developing and managing standard forms and procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in finance and office administration, preferably in an airport or aviation-related industry.
  • Strong data entry and keyboarding skills, with experience in payroll and benefit data entry an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a solid ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with aviation and airport operations.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Experience with database programs, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
