About the Role

This Senior Risk Assessor position plays a crucial role in developing and delivering risk assessment and risk management projects across Canada.

  • As a technical resource, you will provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members, contributing to contaminated sites projects.
  • You will lead human health and/or ecological risk assessment projects for internal and external clients, driving the development of our Risk Assessment capabilities.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assessment of human and ecological risk, toxicology, and direction on management and mitigation of exposure and remedial measures.
  • Managing and executing multiple risk assessment and contaminated sites projects from proposal stage to completion.
  • Limited travel to project sites based on project/client requirements.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to meet project deliverables, quality objectives, schedules, and budgets.
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical, supervisory, and project management roles within human and/or environmental risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including budget tracking and meeting schedules.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to undergo security clearance checks.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Remote/hybrid working arrangements available.
