Blaisdale Montessori School seeks an Early Childhood Educator to join our team in providing high-quality child development programs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of children and staff, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing and implementing engaging child-care programs that cater to the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement curriculum-based activities that promote child growth and development
  • Supervise and guide early childhood educators and assistants in maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff members
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a well-structured and organized program
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in early childhood education
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a permanent position
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Criminal record check
