Project Manager - Onsite Wastewater Specialist

Crozier: Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our onsite wastewater projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project design, implementation, and delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project design and implementation, ensuring compliance with Ontario Building Code (Part 8) and Provincial and Municipal standards.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams, including engineers, CETs, EITs, and other technical professionals, to identify project requirements and relay same to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional communication and report writing skills to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare project proposals, timelines, specifications, and work schedules, and assemble team and resources to identify deliverables and timelines.
  • Review designs and deliverables for quality control, and cultivate strong client relations and liaise with professional colleagues and municipal/agency staff to move projects forward.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a relatable degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years project management experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment.
  • In-depth working knowledge and project experience with onsite wastewater and septic system principles.
  • Well-developed knowledge of Ontario Building Code (Part 8), Provincial and Municipal standards, and their application to specific projects.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, and ability to prioritize/manage multiple project timelines.
