Cloud Engineer - AWS Connect and Contact Center Modernization

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the successful implementation and support of AWS Connect and Contact Center modernization initiatives.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and supporting multiple AWS Connect implementations, as well as integrating AWS Connect and Salesforce CTI.

You will work closely with our Agile team to develop innovative proposals for evolving Manulife's platforms, introducing new products or capabilities, or improving processes that benefit the firm or its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing for both functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, privacy, etc.
  • Assisting the business in the scoping and planning of upcoming initiatives and roadmap items
  • Business Process modeling and developing data driven solutions
  • Developing reference architecture and reference implementation patterns
  • Helping to develop new and revising governance processes to ensure alignment of a diverse set of technology projects with the enterprise target state vision.
  • Presenting architecture and innovative ideas to executive leadership for the purposes of alignment and key decision making
  • Connecting your business and technical insights to develop innovative proposals for evolving Manulife's platforms, introducing new products or capabilities, or improving processes that benefit the firm or its customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of core programming experience in an enterprise environment utilizing Java
  • Experience with AWS Connect and Contact Center modernization software engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, coding, testing, and supporting multiple AWS Connect implementations
  • Practical experience with integrating AWS Connect and Salesforce CTI
  • Proficiency with AWS native services that integrate with AWS Connect, including EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, Autoscaling, Lambda, Lex, Polly, Kinesis, RDS, Contact Lens, Contact Control Panel (CCP), and DynamoDB
  • Solid understanding of security protocols such as Oauth2, AuthN/AuthZ
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform
  • Knowledge of TekVision or Cyara automated testing of call flows and call experience
  • Experience in Agile scrum methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team

Salary: $00 CAD - $137,930.00 CAD
