About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to join our team at Mariner. As a key member of our technology team, you will design, develop, and implement applications using the Oracle Application Express (APEX) platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
  • Work with Oracle databases to design and implement data models, schemas, and PL/SQL scripts.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Customize and extend Oracle APEX applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and users to gather and refine application requirements.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth application functionality.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of Oracle APEX applications.
  • Ensure that applications are compliant with best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for existing APEX applications.
  • Create technical documentation for developed applications and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in designing and managing Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services and APIs within Oracle APEX.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
