Job Title: Life Cycle Manager

New Flyer is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses, and we're seeking a skilled Life Cycle Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving customer success and New Flyer's profitability through a successful customer/New Flyer partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a customer playbook to track and communicate program objectives, plans, and metrics.
  • Oversee and assist New Flyer owners to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage program metrics and targets, including MDBF and OOS data, to ensure optimal bus availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to assess and plan future retrofits and commercial opportunities.
  • Coordinate business and technical studies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent technical diploma.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the transit industry or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, dependent on project requirements.
