Culinary Lead Cook
About the Job:We are seeking a skilled Culinary Lead Cook to join our team at Ontario Inc. Brampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with regular standing, walking, and lifting.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, with overtime required.
- Culinary Certifications: Possession of relevant culinary certifications, such as food safety or nutrition.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
