About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Consultant for our Audit and Tax business units. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic support to our business leaders, develop and implement talent strategies, and collaborate with our HR Centres of Excellence to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line support to Audit and Tax business units on HR annual programs, including talent reviews, compensation, recognition, and employee listening.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Business Unit Leaders, Develop Leaders, and people managers, providing advice and support in the execution of their roles.
  • Collaborate with KPMG's HR team locally and nationally to create and implement talent strategies and programs aligned with key business priorities.
  • Support the creation and implementation of diverse and inclusive talent practices, working closely with KPMG's Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Council, business leaders, and HR colleagues.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to bring deep HR knowledge and expertise to our clients.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources in a fast-paced, corporate environment, with experience in a professional services environment a clear asset.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand client business strategy and challenges.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-performance environment.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to express opinions in a tactful manner.
  • Critical thinking and influencing skills to challenge traditional thinking and promote new approaches.
  • Ability to develop trust, credibility, and strong relationships with clients.
