Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our business leaders and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to identify and implement people strategies that align with business objectives.
  • HR Program Development: Design and implement HR programs and processes to support business goals, including talent management, organizational design, and change management.
  • Talent Management: Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop high-potential employees, including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
  • HR Operations: Provide HR operational support, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business and its goals, using HR expertise to drive business results.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in business, HR, or a related field, preferably with a CHRL or CHRM designation.
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in client relationship management and strategic HR partnering.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex HR issues to business leaders and executives.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legislation, including ESA and Human Rights Code.
