About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at CEFA Junior Kindergarten. As an Assistant to our Early Childhood Educators, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Support: Assist Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist Early Childhood Educators or Supervisors in keeping accurate and detailed records.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts that foster creativity and imagination.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Observations and Progress: Submit written observations on children to Early Childhood Educators or Supervisors, and discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Staff Meetings: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1)
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
