Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Service Management team at Royal Bank of Canada as a Senior Configuration Analyst. As a key player in the Enterprise Configuration Management process, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, setting up the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and expanding its use into other IT processes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have 5 to 7 years of Configuration Management experience, with expertise in data analysis and management using advanced Excel techniques. Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies is also essential. Your excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills will enable you to interact effectively with geographically and culturally diverse teams. You must have a strong understanding of Service Management processes and hold ITIL v4 Foundations Certified certification.

Nice-to-have qualifications include working knowledge of CSDM and experience with ServiceNow. If you are passionate about making a difference and are motivated by challenges, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Manager, Configuration Management Process Owner in implementing the CMDB.
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Configuration Management Process Owner with continual process improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT & Process Owners, and Process Stakeholders to gather and analyze needs, translating these needs into requirements.
  • Ensure the Configuration Management process is understood and adhered to.

Work Environment
