Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business transformation strategies to achieve organizational objectives
  • Provide strategic advice and direction to senior management on financial and corporate management systems
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to implement changes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and develop solutions to address their business problems
  • Implement and evaluate cross-functional decisions to achieve organizational objectives
  • Assess the organization's capacity to undertake and deliver initiatives or changes
  • Develop and implement business strategies and plans
  • Examine the link between organizational goals and work processes to achieve those objectives at strategic and operational levels
  • Process problems into solutions or new opportunities/initiatives, identifying and researching best practices
  • Perform SWOT analysis
  • Develop mission and vision statements
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in providing strategic advice and direction for financial or corporate management systems to senior management in the public sector
  • Must have 3 years of experience in business transformation of SAP-based financial systems within the last 10 years within the Government of Canada
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience at the senior management level in developing a broad range of processes and policies in an Information Management/Information Technology/Enterprise Transformation environment
