About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults and seniors in their own homes.

Our team is committed to helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and passion for delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders to ensure clients' physical and emotional needs are met
  • Support clients with grooming and bathing, as well as assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Deliver Alzheimer's care and support to clients with dementia
Requirements
  • Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Complete a criminal background check, provide professional and personal references, and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Vulnerable sector check and 2-step TB skin test required
  • Driver's abstract is required
  • Possess a computer or smartphone
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly wage, ranging from $18.50 to $19.50, as well as a Health Care Spending Account. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support, and we are committed to helping our clients live full and rich lives.

We use artificial intelligence in our chatbot 'Olivia' to screen and sort potential candidates. Each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
