Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Technologist to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic electrocardiographic procedures independently, assisting physicians with diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring excellent patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stress testing of Nuclear Cardiology patients under the supervision of a physician
  • Provide tracing of ECG, blood pressure, and heart rate before and during the Stress test
  • Conduct tests in accordance with CSCT and KMH's protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Instruct or aid patients on Stress testing and other equipment
  • Apply independent judgment and critical thinking during examinations to ensure all appropriate data is captured
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Completion of a recognized course in ECG
  • CSCT designation
  • 1 year of work experience (asset)
  • CPR certification
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word and Outlook)
  • Experience with EMR systems
  • ACLS (asset)

Schedule

This full-time role is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts required.
