Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Development Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for acquiring site measurements and readings required for projects, generating reports, and ensuring consistency and quality of all work.

Responsibilities
  • Complete field surveys and measurements as assigned
  • Provide site layouts for various stages of construction activities
  • Coordinate and implement survey requirements to facilitate construction activities
  • Perform physical layouts for floors, walls, and ceilings, verifying dimensions and elevations
  • Mark and label survey points, gridlines, and record field data according to job specifications
  • Coordinate control network surveys, including traversing and levelling
  • Review subtrade work to ensure consistency and quality
  • Conduct surveys of existing site geometry and features
  • Ability to work with interior and exterior site conditions year-round
  • Maintain survey equipment and calibrate as needed
  • Update and maintain accurate as-built drawings when required
  • Provide clear survey notes and sketches for each layout complete
  • Complete quantity take-offs as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Additional education, including BIM Certification, is an asset
  • Ontario Land Surveyor License is an asset
  • Minimum 2+ years progressive experience in site services and working around residential sites
  • Knowledge of construction industry and specifications, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience with operating total station, GPS, and other survey equipment
  • Technical understanding of software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Ability to understand project schedules and critical path
  • Team player with ability to work within integrated staff for field operations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and irregular hours
  • Valid Ontario driver's license (G class)
