Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Wellness Home Healthcare Services. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including taking vital signs and maintaining inventory of supplies
  • Transport patients between care facilities and provide wheelchair or stretcher assistance as needed
  • Respond to call signals to determine patients' needs and provide timely support
Work Environment:

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to provide seamless care to our clients.

Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience in a healthcare setting an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
