About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Investment Advisor to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, providing them with customized investment and wealth management solutions.



Salary and Benefits


The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience. Job Description


As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with clients, providing them with tailored investment and wealth management solutions. This will involve:



  • Conducting needs assessments to understand clients' financial goals and objectives
  • Developing personalized investment strategies to meet clients' needs
  • Providing ongoing portfolio monitoring and rebalancing to ensure clients' goals are met
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients through regular communication and education
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide comprehensive financial planning and advice


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and a passion for financial planning
  • A keen interest in portfolio management and a solid understanding of investment products and strategies
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • A Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent certification, with a willingness to pursue additional designations as needed
