Marketing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Ingonish Harbour Resort Inc. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our brand and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks to support the marketing team, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Staff Recruitment and Management: Recruit and hire staff, as well as supervise and manage office and volunteer staff.
  • Client Advisory: Advise clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies to help them achieve their business goals.
  • Marketing Materials: Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, including brochures, reports, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research studies to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
  • Surveys and Questionnaires: Design and conduct social or economic surveys to assess development and future trends.
  • Online Marketing: Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to reach a wider audience.
  • Funding Applications: Prepare funding applications to secure resources for business growth.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Digital Database Management: Maintain and manage digital databases to track customer interactions and preferences.
  • Client Support: Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
