Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Watson Motor INN. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. They will be proficient in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus to meet changing customer preferences and trends.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and clean.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations and leading teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations.
