Senior Construction Project Manager

Walser Contracting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Construction Operations Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and team productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit comprehensive project budget estimates, including costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Team Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as subcontractors and external partners.
- Construction Scheduling: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
- Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, ensuring timely payments, and controlling costs.
- Purchase and Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare reports and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction operations management, or equivalent experience.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Security and Safety: Must pass a criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and drug test.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, team player, and values and ethics.
