Health and Safety Expert

Brandt is a leading company in the industry, offering various solutions to support operational excellence in health and safety. We are currently looking for a highly skilled Health and Safety Expert to join our team in Saskatoon.
This role will play a pivotal part in driving Brandt's health and safety culture and achieving our goal of being one of Canada's safest companies.
About the RoleAs a Health and Safety Expert at Brandt, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our corporate health and safety program in the assigned region. This includes delivering or organizing health and safety related training as required, conducting audits and inspections according to requirements, and monitoring the company's compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and other legal requirements.
You will also continuously improve health and safety outcomes and organizational performance by recording, monitoring, reporting, and integrating health and safety program feedback and data.
Requirements- A post-secondary credential in the area of health and safety (e.g. certificate or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution) or equivalent work experience combined with training.
- A professional health and safety designation (e.g. CRSP, CRST or other designation) is a strong asset.
- At least three years of experience in a health and safety role at the organizational level.
- Possesses a solid foundation of health and safety issues related to the company's primary business and operations (e.g. powered mobile equipment sales and aftermarket support).
- Proficient in using computers and productivity software (e.g. MS Office).
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
As a Health and Safety Expert at Brandt, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Corporate Safety, local committees and representatives, and head office, operations and support staff, and Occupational Health and Safety Officers.
