About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at RS Bookkeeping and Accounting. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Bookkeeping: Use manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to record and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns for clients.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in computerized bookkeeping systems and other financial software.
