Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Badlands Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Scheduling
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on hotel operations, guest feedback, and staff performance.
- Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.
- Staff Management
- Hire, train, and develop a team of staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent guest service.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
- Facilities Management
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel facilities, including public areas, rooms, and equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working order and arrange for repairs as needed.
- Guest Services
- Assist guests with special needs, such as providing extra towels or amenities.
- Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure that guest requests are met promptly and efficiently.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality management role is an asset.
- Work Setting
- Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
- Willingness to relocate is required.
