KIT Recruitment is seeking a skilled Grain Buyer to join their team at a leading Import/Export Company in Mississauga. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating and purchasing grain contracts to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include:

* Procuring and managing purchasing contracts related to the procurement strategy
* Negotiating and buying grain such as lentils, peas, chickpeas, and other crops
* Maintaining accurate records of grain received, prices paid, and quantities purchased
* Ensuring timely delivery of products to domestic and export destinations
* Providing weekly crop progress and harvest reports, as well as market trend analysis

Requirements:

* Degree in Ag-Business or related field preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the grain industry with strong relationships with farmers and grain elevators
* Proven track record of building strong relationships and negotiating contracts
* Proficiency in grain purchasing and contract management
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service
