**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nursing Specialist to join our Women & Children's Health team at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing pediatric patients from infancy to adolescence, providing family-centered care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assess pediatric patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to parents and families using a family-centered approach
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans

**Requirements:**

  • Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse in good standing
  • Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; relevant experience in pediatrics highly valued
  • BCLS certification within the last 2 years required; Neonatal Resuscitation course completion within the past 2 years also required
  • Two years' current experience in pediatric nursing, including physical assessment skills
  • Able to function independently in all pediatric situations
  • Strong medical/surgical knowledge base and evidence of ability to apply those skills in a pediatric environment
