Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $62,500 CAD annually, depending on qualifications, with potential for performance-based bonus. This position will be based in one of our office locations either in Vancouver, British Columbia or Toronto, Ontario. Remote work may be negotiable, dependent on qualifications and demonstrated previous successful remote work experience.

Job Description

You will play a role in undertaking aviation and transportation related quantitative analysis, data development, analysis, report-writing, and presentation development on a wide range of projects for a diverse set of clients. You'll dive into interesting initiatives spanning demand modeling, business case creation, proposal writing, market trend analysis, airline service performance and opportunity analysis, policy and regulatory analysis, economic impact, forecasting and more, with a focus on airport and airline strategies in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis for various consulting engagements.
  • Undertake quantitative analysis and support the interpretation of the results.
  • Craft professional reports and project deliverables, explaining research methods and drawing insightful observations.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in aviation, economics, business, commerce, statistics, transportation, and/or related field.
  • Strong interest and passion for and knowledge of Canadian airline and aviation industry, preferably including key airport air service, and airline network commercial principles.
  • 1-2 years of prior work experience in a similar quantitative/analytic role is strongly preferred.
  • Transportation, airline/aviation policy interest, and familiarity with current industry topics.
  • Strong quantitative research skills with the ability to conduct thorough analysis and provide sound interpretations. Experience in Excel modeling, Alteryx (or similar data analysis tools), and/or Tableau (or similar visualization software) preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills with the ability to translate data and empirical results into compelling reports and presentations.
  • Strong time management skills with capacity to manage multiple projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver results under pressure.
