We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Job SummaryThe Head Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of our menu items and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus that meet our customers' expectations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
- 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Degree in culinary arts or related field
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent deadlines
- Physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing and lifting
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
