Maintenance Mechanic for Rotating Shifts

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Atlantic Packaging in Ancaster. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.
Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and productivity are top priorities. As a Maintenance Mechanic, your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues in a timely manner.
You will be working on rotating shifts, which means you'll have the opportunity to gain experience across different times of the day and develop a deeper understanding of our operations. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, combined with your knowledge of PLC's, wiring, and legislated standards, will enable you to identify and address potential problems before they become major issues.
Your ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management will also be crucial in ensuring that any concerns or issues are promptly addressed. With a strong commitment to teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving, you will be an invaluable asset to our maintenance team.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of PLC's, wiring, and legislated standards
- Troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
