Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at DAVIE DOSA COMPANY.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, determining the size of food portions and costs, and planning menus and estimating food requirements for their realization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Work Environment: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
