Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of our Technology & Operations team, responsible for managing relationships with third-party data providers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contract Management: Own and manage stakeholder group's market data contracts, ensuring timely renewals and accurate pricing information.
  • User Management: Serve as the primary liaison for service users, providing information on contracts and services, and assisting with product knowledge queries and troubleshooting.
  • Rewal Escalation: Escalate renewal information to senior team members for review and approval, investigating budgeting variance to identify process flow gaps.
  • Market Data System Management: Regularly update information in the Market Data Management (MDM) system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field, with experience liaising with investment, product, and data engineering teams.
  • Product Management or Account Management experience is an asset. Familiarity with the Market Data Management (MDM) system is preferred.
  • Excellent listening skills to translate data requests into actionable data searches, and experience interpreting and working with data catalogs, data dictionaries, and sample data files to determine value, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and proven ability to work in a team environment.
